About the client:
CAPTURED is a photography movement that aims to tell the stories of Africa from all walks of life, told through a camera lens and their candid statements. Their mission is to travel across Africa to find and record stories that will inspire hope, kindness, bravery, and stir smiles. They are located on Botswana, but the movement takes place on the entire continent.
About the project:
We were assigned to create the brand identity system including logotype, symbol, stationery, and promotional items like key chains, pins and stickers. The client recommended blue, purple and pink to be the colors of their identity.
The font was designed in a bold sans-serif typeface with marker type of font for the tagline to add a humanistic sensibility to the brand and give a subtle but distinctive character to the brand.
We found inspiration in the ink texture when it spreads on papers, our approach to CAPTURED branding was focused on abstract young urban design with modern color palette to reflect their young and energetic movement.
